Established in 1955, Original Penguin is an American clothing line specializing in clothing, footwear, and eyewear. Abbot Pederson launched the brand on a random night of whiskey, taxidermy, and flying. On a flight back home, a stewardess gave Abbot the brilliant idea of immortalizing his taxidermy penguin, purchased after a few rounds of whiskey, and the Original Penguin brand was born. Pete, the name Abbot, gave his penguin friend, has been an American icon ever since. Today, Original Penguin exemplifies American Sportswear with modern style.
